Hi everyone, I have a G4 MDD Dual 1.0Ghz powermac that south korean won't boot from the winchester drive. Once it powers up, it looks for a communication system drive to boot from so I have to boot up holding the "option" key to select the disc drive.... more
I just recently got a G5 to replace my old g4 that took a crap on me. I finally got it up and running after a while of battling with installing OSX on a hard drive. I finally got it running and i'm installing all my programs, music and photos (total of 50 gbs so far). I'm glad, I finally got it working, it seriously was depressing just looking at my old G4 and not getting to do ANY work. This will still be a work in progress, needs ram and probably a second hard drive.
