Hey,
To install 10.5 you need the Leopard Retail CDs. Any grey discs WILL NOT work, especially not those for Intel Macs. (Your iBook has a PowerPC Processor, so cannot run the Intel code provided). You need to use the original iBook Restore CDs or a Retail copy of Leopard (NOT Snow Leopard). Otherwise, there is no way to recover your iBook as you formatted the Hard Disk.
