iphone-4-os

How do know its NOT iRave !?!?!?!?

AND iSlate IS software that implements the blogging partnership between APPLE and Slate Magazine which will allow ANYONE to get they story in the headlines if it is good enough !!!

Apple has been innovative with multi gestures forever.

Multitasking has been an issue for a while. While some programs are allowed to run in the background, anyone can say this will be an included upgrade.

I thought I would give the iPhone a try which I have. Fair enough it’s a smart (looking) phone but with my xda orbit I could swap between applications and more importantly I could save files where I wanted to and access them from my PC link.
I’m not gonna slag the iphone but will be going back to Xda as soon as this contract is up.
I had put up with the frustration of owning it until yesterday 19/1/2010 when home/office internet was off all day and I had documents that I could not get off the phone that needed signing. At least Xda & Nokia you can get your files off the phone via PC.
If Apple make it more accessable that way then they will do even better but at the moment it’s just a poser phone for some but those who need to use it for their OWN business it does suck I’m afraid to say.

Sorry Apple, make it better please

Your eventually going to see the rift. The bump in processor speed and ram makes it inevitable. We are seeing the dawn of the mobile age as we saw a dawn of the PC age years ago.

That’s right, y’all. We’re back at it, and this time we’ve received some exclusive iPhone OS 4.0 details from one of our trusty Apple connects.

Every OS upgrade has an improved UI.

      Syncing can always be improved.

Can’t wait for this! Should be an amazing upgrade!

The “3G / 3GS only” bit of the article interests me. As an owner of the original iPhone, I sincerely hope I don’t see a rift in app compatibility between the models.

Here are some iPhone OS 4.0 features, according to our guy:

      • There will be multi-touch gestures OS-wide. (Would make sense for that as the rumored OS for the iTablet is close if not the same as the iPhone)
      • “A few new ways” to run applications in the background — multitasking.
      • Many graphical and UI changes to make navigating through the OS easier and more efficient. We haven’t had this broken down, but we can only hope for improved notifications, a refreshed homescreen, etc.
      • The update will supposedly be available for only the iPhone 3G and 3GS, but will “put them ahead in the smartphone market because it will make them more like full-fledged computers” more than any other phone to date. Everyone is “really excited.”
      • The last piece of information is the most vague, but apparently there will be some brand new syncing ability for the contacts and calendar applications.

Same thing happened then. Yes, the vendors enjoyed seeing us buy newer hardware and drive their year end profit goals but if we demand better features then the hardware has to support it. Old hardware doesn’t support newer features for very long.

That’s all we have for now! Who can’t wait for next Wednesday?

This is the worst are post ever. Anyone could predict those updates. There is nothing new listed.

      Thanks, Lindsey!

        Unbelievable!

this has to be one of the worst biased Iphone sites I have come across “put them ahead in the smartphone market because it will make them more like full-fledged computers” more than any other phone to date. Everyone is “really excited.” – Really? I think the only phone that hold that title is the N900 even Android, Palm and WinMo are closer

my guess is at the event, this will be revealed as well as the tablet. but Apple would strike google very hard if they revealed the 4th gen iphone as well. I dont think OS 4.0 is more than a slap in the face maybe even a love tap.
